Candidates

Gamers4Croydon is proud to present its candidates for the 2010 South Australian election. Further candidates will be announced in the future.

Kat Nicholson, Candidate for Croydon

Kat Nicholson

Kat has sustained a lifelong love of both gaming and politics and is a highly intelligent, motivated and educated young woman. She completed a BA at Flinders University and is currently studying a Masters in journalism at the University of South Australia. She spent a year as an intern at one of Adelaide's leading animation studios, and has a long history of participation in community and amateur theater.

Kat strongly believes that parents - not the government - can and should be trusted to raise their children with adequate supervision, judgement and discipline. She plans to have a family one day and knows that she cannot expect things to change before she becomes a parent unless she acts now.

She is passionate about Adelaide and its capacity for innovation and growth, and is certain that the ever-changing area in which the seat of Croydon lies is a potential beacon for the rest of the state. Kat is excited by the prospect of being able to represent the beautiful and multicultural electorate of Croydon, and looks forward to the challenges that lie ahead.
